The Logo incorporates a green tea leaf in a cup with ‘Maxwell Matcha’ underneath. The Maxwell house logo currently has a cup sideways with a single drip of coffee falling out of it. To play with the same elements of the Maxwell House logo, the tea leaf also looks like a drop in the cup. The thickness of the letters give it a bit of a more playful feel to contrast against the weight of the logo.

The packaging itself incorporates different shades of green that ultimately reaches a calming cream color. The shades of green reinforces a natural, healthy and even eco-friendly feel to the packaging. Additionally, the green levels represent the shape of the mountains in Japan where green tea leaves are harvested. The blends peaking out from the shades of green give the packaging more dimension and unifies the lines in the logo. The speckled dots on the sides of the packaging give the packaging a more playful, rather than completely elegant and ornate feel.
